STM32WLE5 Module for LoRaWAN

The RAK3172 is the stamp-sized flagship WisDuo module. It provides LoRa connectivity for IoT applications while consuming very little power. It can be configured using traditional AT commands or using the RAKwireless Unified Interface (RUI).

STM32WLE5 SiP Module for LoRaWAN

The WisDuo RAK3172 module is also produced in the miniature System-in-Package (SiP) form factor. It is smaller in size than the standard component and can fit into the most compact LoRa devices. This is a surface-mounted device (SMD) that provides full LoRa functionality.

Hybrid LPWAN Modules (LoRa and BLE Bluetooth 5.0)

Some WisDuo modules provide Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity in addition to LoRa. Having both of these protocols available opens the door for more use cases and deployment scenarios. Products such as the RAK11720 and RAK4630 feature this hybrid connectivity and are among the top sellers in the WisDuo line.

Breakout Boards

RAKwireless offers an assortment of breakout boards for LoRa IoT solutions. Breakout boards “break out” pins onto cleanly arranged printed circuit boards, making them less cluttered and easier to access. They also typically have much smaller form factors than full-sized boards. They save space and they’re easy to work with.

Breakout boards are cost-effective products that can be used to rapidly build IoT solutions. Our large inventory includes the RAK3172, which contains a WisDuo module and features an RP-SMA antenna connector and eighteen different header pins.

Evaluation Boards

Evaluation boards help aid in product development. These boards are designed to help evaluate major components while providing I/O and other common connections.

RAKwireless evaluation boards have USB ports which make setup a cinch upon connecting to a computer. They are also fully compatible with the WisBlock series of products, making it easy to integrate sensors and other useful peripherals.

RUI Logo

RUI3 supports RAK3172, RAK3172-SiP, RAK4630 and RAK11720 WisDuo modules. This interface enables users to develop, compile, and distribute custom firmware across the entire suite of RAK products. It's compatible with popular IDEs like Visual Studio, Arduino, and PlatformIO. RUI3 also supports WisToolBox which is a UI software tool available on Desktop and Mobile that easily configures WisDuo devices.
