Why choose RAK Sensor Hub?
Prepared for solution providers including system integrators that want to install IoT Solutions fast
Waterproof enclosure, built-in antenna
Mounting bracket has a locking feature to help prevent theft
Supports both LoRaWAN and NB-IoT
How many sensors can I connect to my Sensor Hub?
You may connect up to 250 sensors using a 1-Wire bus. We recommend using up to 8 such devices—your battery drains quickly with every connection.
Can I achieve OTA?
Currently, OTA updates can be received over BLE via the WisToolBox app. We will soon roll out support for LoRaWAN FUOTA.
Do you provide a global SIM?
You may choose Hologram during checkout or purchase any other SIM for a global cellular network.
Can my orders be shipped directly to the project site?
Yes, you may join our trusted partner network to enjoy vast customization and drop shipping.
How much power does a Sensor Hub consume?
In Sleep Mode, the Sensor Hub consumes between 15~20uA and 6~8mA in Idle Mode. However, this may not be true for your Sensor Hub, as power
consumption depends on various factors, including transmission interval, TX power level, sensor reading, and temperature.
Can I connect my solar panel?
Sensor Hub batteries are non-rechargeable. We do not recommend charging the batteries.
Will RAK continue to update the compatible sensors list?
Yes, we will continuously update the compatible sensors list. We are working on the Sensor Hub to help makers and developers connect their sensors.
What is the dimension of the Sensor Hub?
The Sensor Hub's dimension is 120mm * 80mm * 39mm.
